Engineering & Project Coordinator - Orangeville
Emery Telecommunications & Video has an opening for an Engineering & Project Coordinator position. This individual will assist with assigned construction and plant expansion projects. This person will personally engineer or work with contract engineers to help design projects and complete other engineering requirements as required by the assigned projects. This person will oversee the necessary permits and right of way agreements to complete the projects as assigned. This person will also coordinate the completion of projects as assigned. This person will work with engineers, government agencies, private land owners and others to accomplish these tasks. This person must have great communication skills and will be meeting with customers often. This person must also have great computer skills, the ability to understand engineer activities, the ability to use CADD software and understand CADD drawings, and be familiar with general utility construction processes. A bachelor degree in Civil engineering or equivalent experience is preferred. A P.E. certificate or the ability to get a P.E. certificate in the future is a plus.
This position is a full-time. This person will work with the engineering office in Orangeville but will be asked to travel to permitting and construction sites to meet with customers, government agencies, and contractors as needed.
