Marketing & Sales Manager - Orangeville

The Marketing and Sales Manager will draft, design, and execute marketing plans and strategies for Emery Telcom products. This person will analyze market penetration, product pricing, competitive position, and other company situations in relation to its products. This person will make recommendations to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager concerning new marketing ideas that will grow the Company market shares. This person will manage sales activities, track and analyzes sales trends, develop a sales strategy for each line of the business and determines customers to target. This person will provide adequate customer service to the largest customers, conduct business sales meetings and supervises all sales activities.

Anticipated Functions/Responsibilities:

• Manages the day-to-day operational activities of the marketing and sales department.
• Tracks department activities and reports to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager pertinent department statistics.
• Helps build a company culture of selling and promoting Emery Telcom products.
• Makes sales calls to a variety of customers.
• Tracks sales and marketing campaign results.
• Completes all marketing campaigns and other assignments as directed by Management.
• Possess knowledge necessary to use design software applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Final Cut Pro, and other applicable software.
• Possess the knowledge and understanding of the differences between designing for print and design for web.
• Understands the software that is used to design internet sites
• Possess the knowledge of industry practices for marketing telecommunication products.

Experience/Education: Bachelor degree in business, marketing, sales, or similar field preferred. Experience in designing marketing ads and relevant computer skills is needed. Exceptional communication skills are needed. Public speaking experience is a plus.
